An oval coffee table 130 cm long, its whole surface built up in small bone tiles over a wood core, with a second tier raised above the main top.
A mosaic of small bone tiles laid over wood
The body is wood; everything you see is bone, cut into small rectangular tiles and set in courses across the top, down the deep edge and around the raised tier. The tiles run cream to pale honey, and because they are laid by eye the tone shifts as the light moves along the table.
Long, low and two levels deep
At 130 × 65 × 45 cm it runs the length of a three-seater and still leaves the walkway clear. The raised tier takes a stack of books or a tray while the lower surface stays free for cups, which earns its place in a Dubai living room where one table has to do everything.
