The top is bone, cut into pieces and carved before it is fitted across the circle, so the surface carries fine joins rather than reading as a single sheet. Beneath it the rods cross and splay outward to the floor, so the frame holds the disc without filling the space under it.

Ninety centimetres with almost no visual weight
At 90 × 90 × 45 cm this is the wider of the round carved bone tables, enough for a three-seater and an armchair to share. The black frame is slender enough that the top reads as a floating disc in a Dubai apartment where floor space is the scarce thing.
